Linda Susan Alessi Bode, 67, of Norfolk, Va., went to heaven on Friday, March 29. She was born in Gloversville, N.Y., on April 12, 1945, to the late Anthony Joseph Alessi and Sylvia Jean Hindes. Linda was married to Joseph G. Bode and they lived together in Indianapolis, Ind., before they relocated to Norfolk. She is survived by: one daughter, Bonita Bode of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, David Alessi and his wife, Bonnie and family of Gloversville, N.Y., Tony Alessi and his wife, Philles and family of Macelester, Olka.; two grandchildren, Elena Lecona and Erika Lecona of Indianapolis, Ind.; a great-granddaughter, Gabriella Lecona and other family members and friends. She was a great wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to The Salvation Army.
