Mr. Richard G. Wallach, 71, of Gloversville, passed away April 12, 2013, at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
He was born May 2, 1941, in Gloversville, son of the late Simon and Mollie Cristiano Wallach. Richard was educated in Gloversville schools and attended Morrisville College. Early in his life, he was employed at General Electric Co. in Schenectady. Most of his life, Richard was self-employed, owning Bob’s Seafood in Gloversville. He retired several years ago due to ill health.
Richard is survived by his dear sister Mary-Ann Gleason of Johnstown, nieces and nephews; Deborah Wallach, Mark Wallach, Brianna Wallach, Erin Wallach, Lisa Jablonski, Christopher Jablonski and Debbie Jablonski. Additional survivors include an aunt and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Rose Marie Tucci Wallach, in 1980, and brothers Robert and John Wallach.
There will be no services. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. Urn burial will be at the convenience of his family. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave. Gloversville.
