Robert G. “Bobby” Boucher, age 65, of Chestnut Street, Johnstown, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam. He was born on April 19, 1948, in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Gerard and Patricia Martin Boucher.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Boucher; brothers, Ronald (Jan) Boucher of Texas, Michael Boucher and Dennis (Mary) Boucher of Las Vegas; sisters, Geraldine (Terry) Willis, JoAnn Boucher, Rita (Barry) Greenough and Beverly (Mike) Lee. Several nieces and nephews.
He is loved and missed by his immediate family as well as his large extended family at Lexington. He was known by many as the Mayor of Lexingon.
He was predeceased by his father, Gerard Boucher; and his brothers, Roger and John Boucher.
Friends may call on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Gloversville Funeral Home, 4 Second Ave., Gloversville, where a service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
