Bradley E. Simonds, age 39, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Albany Medical Center.
He was born on June 14, 1974, in Amsterdam.
Bradley worked at Bishop Burke Day Hab. He loved his Cutter Lane family and had a great sense of humor. He was always playing jokes on them, cooking and baking and working in his tomato garden. He had an unforgettable smile. Bradley was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He loved animals, fishing, spending time with his family and caring for his 7 year old goldfish, Jeter.
Survivors include his parents, Frank Ahrens and Cindy Simonds Ahrens, of Johnstown; three brothers, Eric (Felicia) Simonds, Kyle (Amber) Dwyer and Daniel (David) Ahrens; four nephews, Zachary, Dominic, Jeremiah and Kyle II; three nieces, Hannah, Alia and Emma; maternal grandparents, Dean and Pat Scroggie; his special aunt and uncle, Pam and Harold “Ruch” Crouse; several aunts and uncles, cousins, and his extended family at Cutter Lane.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Francis Simonds, who passed away in 1988.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 2, at 1 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Visitation for friends and family will be on Friday prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Ephratah Rural Cemetery.
