Terry J. Belden, 56, a resident of Ephratah, N.Y., died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at home. He was born on August 28, 1956, in Amsterdam, N.Y., the son of the late Phillip and Norma Hemsteet Belden. He was a graduate of Gloversville High school and worked as a machinist for Key Mark in Fonda for many years.
He was a lifelong area resident and a member of the Pine Tree Rifle Club, the Ephratah Rod and Gun Club and the Fremont Methodist Church.
Survivors include his son, Casey Belden of Chesterfield, Mo.; four brothers, Phillip Jr. (Susan) Belden of Gloversville, Kirk (Christina) Belden of Phoenix, Ariz., Sean Belden of Gloversville and Burt Belden of Gloversville; one sister, Denise (Anthony) Belden-Christiano. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013, in Fern Dale Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity on one’s choice.
