Mrs. Rose Kucel Teetz, age 92, died Friday, August 23, 2013, at her home in Gloversville.
She was born November 9, 1920, in Tarryville, Conn., the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Checovetes Kucel.
Mrs. Teetz resided in Meco and then in Gloversville, when she was married. She was employed years ago at Crescent Leather Company of Johnstown.
She was married December 18, 1948, to Kenneth D. Teetz Sr., who died March 23, 1999. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth D. Teetz Jr. of Gloversville and William Teetz (Sandy) of Johnstown; five brothers and sisters, Mary Dingman and Stanley Kucel (Esther) of Gloversville, Jessie Reali (Carl) of Massachusetts and John Kucel (Marjorie) and Edward Kucel of Meco; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Teetz was predeceased by six brothers and sisters, Florence Kucel, Lawrence Kucel, Genevieve Walther, Albert Kucel, William Kucel and Bernice Miller.
There will be no calling hours. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
