Edwin Davison Sr., 88, died Saturday September 21, 2013, at the Capital Living Rehab Center in Schenectady following a long illness. He was born on June 29, 1925 in Wells, N.Y. The son of the late; Lester and Mary Wadsworth Davison. He was employed for many years as a textile worker for Adirondack Knitting retiring in 1982.
He was predeceased by his wife Doris B. Davison with whom he enjoyed over 50 years of marriage with, on October 7, 2002.
Survivors include his children; Bruce and his wife Bette Davison of Broadalbin, Gene and his wife Tanya Davison of Scotia, Ronald and his wife Mervet Davison of Perth, Edwin Jr. and his wife Grace Davison of Gansevoort, and Aurelia and her husband Robert Waite of Perth. Nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive him.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at the Northville Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery, Wells. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.northvillefuneralservice.com.
