Edwin Davison Sr., 88, died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Capital Living Rehab Center in Schenectady following a long illness. He was born on June 29, 1925, in Wells, N.Y., the son of the late Lester and Mary Wadsworth Davison. He was employed for many years as a textile worker for Adirondack Knitting, retiring in 1982.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris B. Davison, with whom he enjoyed over 50 years of marriage, on October 7, 2002.
Survivors include his children, Bruce and his wife, Bette Davison, of Broadalbin, Gene and his wife, Tanya Davison, of Scotia, Ronald and his wife, Mervet Davison, of Perth, Edwin Jr. and his wife, Grace Davison, of Gansevoort, and Aurelia and her husband, Robert Waite, of Perth. Nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive him.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Northville Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery, Wells.
