Lorie Jo Ryan, 51, of Gloversville, died suddenly Saturday at home. Born in Gloversville, April 3, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Gretchen Wilson Ryan. A lover of animals, she is survived by her son, Patrick Thomas of Gloversville; sister, Colleen Ward of Gloversville; brother, Timothy Ryan of Gloversville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel; and sister, Bonnie.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main Street, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Kings Cemetery, Northampton. Memorial contributions may be made to Regional Animal Shelter, 117 W. Fulton St., Gloversville, NY 12078.
