Mrs. Norinne H. Gendron, age 84, of Gloversville, died Friday, September 20, 2013, at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home.
She was born October 9, 1928, in Amsterdam, the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Wittfeldt Moore. A housewife and homemaker for her large family, Norinne also enjoyed camping, bowling, dancing, crocheting and her dog Sophie.
She was married November 23, 1947, to Andre Paul Gendron who died February 25, 2004.
Survivors include eight children: Michelle Ambrosino (Anthony) of Gloversville, Kurt Gendron of Gloversville, Garth Gendron (Linda) of Sprakers, Randy Gendron of Gloversville, Tamara Coffey (Paul) of E. Greenbush, Lauren Woytas (Steven) of Honeoye Falls, Andrea Palmieri (Dean) of Mayfield and Deana Gendron (Dr. Anthony Doti) of Dallas, TX; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Norinne was predeceased by a son, Gregory Gendron.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday, September 24, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams officiating. Interment will take place at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville.
