Glenn S. Durrin, 61, of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 16, 2013, at Nathan Littauer Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Born on March, 25, 1952, he was the son of the late David J. Durrin Sr. and Dorothy Town.
Mr. Durrin enjoyed working on cars, as well as fishing and boating. Glenn had a passion for music, playing country and jazz on his guitar.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Janet Kenny.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Marcia Durrin; mother, Dorothy Town Fancher; six sons, Toby, Willie, Robert, Richard, Francis and Jason Durrin; one daughter, Lona Brasure; brothers, David Durrin Jr., Francis Durrin Sr., Raymond Durrin, Larry Edwards, Mike Edwards and Victor Edwards; sisters, Carol Laporte and Victoria Edwards; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a special friend, Anita Allen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. Funeral arrangements are with Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY.
