MaryLou Frazier

Mrs. MaryLou Frazier, age 56, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 23, 2016.

She was born September 30, 1959, in Buffalo, the daughter of the late John and Marietta Sontag Frazier. She was a graduate of Williamsville High School and also graduated from college in the Buffalo area. She came to this area from WIlliamsville about 30 years ago.

MaryLou was employed as a Federal Court reporter for several years and later by the New York State Office of Court Administration for a total of over 30 years. She was a lifetime member of JAVAC where she was an EMT-Paramedic.

She was an animal lover and supported humane societies. She was also an excellent photographer, especially for family events.

MaryLou is survived by her husband, Geoffrey S. Page of Johnstown, whom she married on July 17, 2009; three stepchildren, Kypp Wetmore of Florida, Kylie Wetmore of Indiana and Aubrey Allen (David) of Gloversville; three siblings, Scott Frazier (Mary) of Northfield, Minnesota, JoAnn Roberto of Providence, RI and Brian Frazier of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Harry Allen, Kaleb Page and Olivia Page.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.

Interment will take place in the spring at Speculator Cemetery.
