Richard ‘Rick’ Bollock

Mr. Richard “Rick” Bollock, 62, of Broadalbin, ended his journey peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side, January 17, 2016.

Rick was born in Niskayuna, NY on July 2, 1953, he was the late son of Raymond and Barbara (House) Bollock. He was raised in Scotia and was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. Rick and his brother Robert owned and operated Bollock Aluminum for 42 plus years.

Rick married the love of his life, Laurie Costello on May 14, 1977. Together they owned and operated the second love of his life, Pine Harbor Trailer Park campground for 25 years. Rick truly enjoyed the Adirondacks from jet skiing on the Sacandaga Lake, snowmobiling in the winters, riding his four wheeler to and from the beach and at his happiest mowing his lawns. Rick was also known to take a chance on gambling.

In addition to his best friend and love of his life Laurie, he is survived by his furry friend, Willow; his brothers, Raymond (Theresa) Bollock of Virginia, Robert (Helene) Bollock of Scotia, Roger (Linda) Bollock of Gloversville; along with several nieces and nephews; two godchildren; and too many friends to list.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 West Main Street, Broadalbin, NY 12025, where a service will follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the: James Brennan Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, NY 12078 or The ASPCA, www.aspca.org/donate.
