Patricia J. “P.J.” VanHoesen, age 44, of Gloversville, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 18, 1971, in Amsterdam, a daughter of the late Robert Pitcavage and Pauline Goddard Pitcavage of Gloversville, who survives.
Patricia was a graduate of Gloversville High School. She worked for several years at the Grandoe Corporation until the onset of her illness.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Chris VanHoesen of Gloversville, whom she married in 1991; one brother, Ian Pitcavage (Melissa) of Mayfield; and her pride and joy niece and nephews, Madison, Hannah and Caleb Pitcavage.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday prior to the service from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda at a later date.
