Dona Mae Batty, age 86, of Gloversville, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016.
Born on August 11, 1929, in Gloversville, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Ruth Forbes Batty.
Dona attended Gloversville schools and was a graduate of the Perkins School for the Blind.
She was a member of the Order Eastern Star Cayadutta Chapter and the Ida McGinnis Senior Center.
Dona Mae loved traveling with her parents and she loved animals, she was especially fond of the cat “Cooter” at Willing Helpers Home for Women.
Dona has no survivors.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Willing Helpers Home for Women.
