Angel M. (DeRosa) Graziano, 74, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Gloversville, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Born November 16, 1941, she was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Esther (Travaglione) DeRosa, and daughter, Christine M. (Graziano) Parker.
Angel (known to her family and friends as “Angie”) married the love of her life, Francis “Frank” S. Graziano on October 14, 1967; they were married 48 wonderful years. They raised their family in Upstate New York until realizing their dream and relocating to Florida in 2006.
Angie thoroughly enjoyed preparing family dinners, doing crossword puzzles, and relaxing with her husband. She cherished every moment spent playing and speaking with her four grandchildren. Angie also actively volunteered her time planning activities in her Florida Mainlands community. Everyone that knew her described Angie as kind, compassionate, sweet, and always the supportive, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Frank of Ocala, FL; her son, Salvatore A. and Carrie (Kaufmann) Graziano of East Greenbush, NY; her son-in-law, Michael “Mickey” Parker of Johnstown, NY; her brother, Francis and Lena (Malagisi) DeRosa of Gloversville, NY; her “sister”, Ann (Diamente) and Leopold Sicilia of Schenectady, NY; her grandchildren, Sydney, Grace, Juliana and Robert; her nieces and nephews, Esther, Elizabeth, Anthony, Theresa and Joseph; and many close family members and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 149 South Main St., Gloversville. Burial will immediately follow the funeral Mass in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown, NY.
