Rick A. Sakadolsky

Rick A. Sakadolsky, age 60, a resident of Northville, died Tuesday June 7, 2016, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on January 31, 1956, in Amsterdam, NY, the son of Richard and Dorothy Haberek Sakadolsky. He was a high school graduate and lifetime area resident. He was employed at Holleran’s Market for 20 years, and as a meat cutter for Price Chopper in Johnstown for a couple of years.

He was a member of the Gloversville Free Methodist Church. He loved his motorcycle, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, gardening and volunteering. He especially loved his wife, his children, grandchildren and family. Rick truly loved his church family and his Lord Jesus. He attended church regularly and read his Bible daily.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly M. Ford Sakadolsky, whom he married on August 2, 1986; his mother, Dorothy Sakadolsky of Northville; son, Daniel and his wife Tara Montoney of Seneca Falls; daughter, Barbara and her husband Jack Klingbeil of Mayfield; two brothers, Mark and his wife Lynn Sakadolsky and David and his wife Malou Sakadolsky; grandchildren, Carson, Cole, Jordan, Jade, Dominick, Jack, AddieMae and Joelle; nieces and nephews, Alex and Stacia Sakadolsky and Scott and Bill Ford.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard Sakadolsky on March 21, 2004.

Family and friends may call on Friday June 10, 2016, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Gloversville Free Methodist Church, 1200 Co. Highway 122, Gloversville, where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gloversville Free Methodist Church, 1200 Co. Hwy 122, Gloversville, NY 12078 or the Adirondack Save-a-Stray, 4880 Route 9N, Corinth, NY 12822. Arrangements are in the care of the Northville Funeral Home.
