Nicholas Adam Faboskay, “Nick,” as everyone knew him, was born August, 21, 1995, to Russell J. Faboskay and Melissa Lewis Faboskay at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. He will always be remembered for as a young man who loved life, would do anything for his family, and brought everyone together in happy and sad times. Nick was a student of the Greater Amsterdam School Dist., where he played his favorite sport, baseball. He was currently working for Commercial Paving Co. and loved to work on cars when he had spare time.
Nick leaves behind not only his loving parents, but also his brothers, Matthew Faboskay and Tim (Megan) Faboskay; his sister, Brooke Faboskay; his beloved nephew, Adam Faboskay; and beloved niece, Gracelynn Faboskay. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also mourn his untimely passing. Nick was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Amelia Lewis Sr.; paternal grandmother, Patrice Seelow; and his uncles, Kenneth Lewis Jr., Jerome Lewis, Michael Faboskay and Robert Faboskay.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riley’s Mortuary Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, N.Y. 12010 on Saturday, October 15, 2016, with a brief service to follow. An interment will take place in Union Mills Cemetery, Broadalbin, NY 12025 immediately following all services Saturday.
Nick’s care is under the direction of Brian Barnett and has been entrusted to Ehle and Barnett Family Funeral Home LLC, 15 N. William Street, Johnstown, NY 12095.
