Robert A. Clark, age 85 of Gloversville, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Mountain Valley Hospice House. Born in Little Falls, New York on March 11, 1931, he was the son of the late Robert and Helen Koch Clark.

Mr. Clark attended Little Falls Schools and went on to honorably serve his country in United State Air Force. Robert worked in several area textile mills, retiring from Fiber Conversion, Inc., Broadalbin in 1999. In his retirement years, he assisted in the family woodworking business. He attended St. John’s Episcopal Church in Johnstown.

Surviving is his wife, Margaret Earl Clark, whom he married on May 11, 1979. Also surviving are daughters Betty Cook and husband Ronald of Gloversville, Carolyn Austin of Little Falls, Elizabeth Galway Bush and husband Alan of Black River, New York, Wendy Galway Herrlett and husband John of Gloversville, Bonnie Galway of Gloversville and Laurie Galway of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Several grandchildren survive, including Timothy, Amanda, Austin, William, Arianna and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29 at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown with Rev. Mother Laurie Garramone officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Fern Dale Cemetery, Johnstown.
