Donald W. Duesler, age 72, of Gloversville, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home.

He was born in Gloversville on October 16, 1944, a son of the late Nellis B. and Mildred N. Passino Duesler.

Mr. Duesler was employed at Lee Dye, Lexington and Samco Glove Manufacturing of Gloversville until his retirement. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Johnstown and also the American Legion. Donald enjoyed going to the races, watching wrestling and going on vacations. He was loved by all and was a very caring man.

He is survived by his daughter, Joy Reid and her husband Leroy; one sister, Jean Meehan; sister-in-law, Frances Duesler; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his three brothers, Nellis Duesler, Charles Duesler, Delos Duesler; and one sister, Sharon Duesler.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, March 17, 2017, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph English officiating.

Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville in the spring.
