Vincent Raucci

Vincent Raucci passed away peacefully on May 3, 2017, following his courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on January 29, 1956, in Gloversville, NY. He has lived in Saratoga Springs, NY for approximately 25 years. Vincent was a graduate of Gloversville High School, SUNY Canton College and earned a bachelor’s degree from Daemen College. He owned his own truck and was a FedEx driver for 30 years. He recently retired.

Vincent loved fishing, camping, playing cards and taking part in the many activities in Saratoga, especially going to the track. He was a member of The Loyal Order of the Moose. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He thoroughly loved spending time with his family and friends.

Vincent was predeceased by his father, Marshall Raucci Sr. and his mother, Grace Mele Raucci. He is survived by his wife, Lynne Raucci, whom he married in 2004. He is also survived by his sister, MaryLousie (Tim) Armstrong of Gloversville, NY; his brother, Marshall (Marian Mattison) Raucci of Providence, RI; his two stepsons, Jason Hinman and Paul Hinman; several nieces and nephews; many lifelong friends and his beloved dog, Mandy.

The family will receive relatives and friends at John W. Finocan Funeral Home Inc., 13 Prospect Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078, on Friday, May 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 6, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a prayer service commencing at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 149 S. Main St., Gloversville, NY 12078, at 11 a.m. with a burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 60-92 New York 29, Johnstown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Saratoga Springs, NY, The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Boston, MA or Community Hospice in Saratoga Springs, NY.
