Frank Tino, 63, of Gloversville, passed away after a brief illness at Nathan Littauer Hospital on June 24, 2017. Born in Schenectady, NY, on December 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Martin J. Tino and Loretta Dashnaw.
Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was employed for many years by New York state as an electronics manager. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed boating and fishing.
He is survived by his two sons, Nicholas Tino of Cobleskill and Matthew Tino of Fonda; brothers, Tony (Debbie) Tino of Franklin, CT, Michael (Tina) Tino of Rochester and James (Susan) Tino of Ballston Spa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Phillip Tino.
Family and friends are invited to a service of committal at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Monday, July 10, 2017, at 12 p.m. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the service as it will begin at 12 p.m. sharp. Deacon Joseph Romand will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
