Paul E. Nelligan of Broadalbin, NY, passed away June 17, 2017, at his home with his loving family by his side. Born on March 14, 1951, in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late James and Margaret (Neary) Nelligan. He was a resident of Broadalbin for many years. Paul retired from Target Distribution in 2011 and was an avid golfer and bowling enthusiast. He most enjoyed his travels to his home in South Carolina and the Myrtle Beach golf courses.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Brenda J. (Lee) Nelligan, as well as sons, Paul E. Nelligan Jr. and Robert J. Nelligan. He is also survived by his brothers, William B. Nelligan (Gina) of Texas, Timothy A. Nelligan of Guilderland, Joseph P. Nelligan (Corrin) of Ballston Spa; his sister, Catherine E. Nalbert (Richard) of Charlton, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by brothers, John L. Nelligan, James D. Nelligan and Michael T. Nelligan.
At Paul’s request, his body will be donated to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program or to Mountain Valley Hospice of Gloversville, NY.
