Thomas R. Kadle, born September 9, 1939, of Gloversville, died peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, July 10, 2017, at Mountain Valley Hospice House after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He had been a resident of River Ridge Nursing Home in Amsterdam for the past seven years. Thomas was the son of George and Mildred (Ballou) Kadle.
On October 1, 1960, he married Geraldine (Stoutner), who survives him; daughters, Cathleen (Claude) Kadle, Tammy (Aaron) Gage, Trinda (Mike) Sweeney; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Also survived by brothers, Joseph (Carolyn) Kadle and George (Elizabeth) Kadle; sister, Jacquelin (Douglas) Dutcher. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Robert (Mort) Kadle.
Tom attended Mayfield Central School and was the owner and operator of the Modern Auto Body Shop in Gloversville for 45 years.
There will be no viewing or calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
