Alexander Etherton Jr. of Gloversville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Nov. 16, 2017.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1947, the son of the late Alexander and Annaa Mae Etherton. He attended Gloversville schools and worked in various leather mills until becoming ill.
Alex enjoyed fast cars, rock and roll music and especially Elvis. He also was very close to his sister, Penny, who he resided with and his sister, Susan, who ran lots of errands and took him to many appointments.
Alex is survived by his siblings: one brother, Nicholas Etherton (Ruth); four sisters, Penny Rowback (James), Kathy Rowback (Ed), Denise Pollak (Joe) and Susan Etherton; several nieces and nephews.
It was Alex’s wishes for all services to be private and held at the convenience of his family.
