Douglas K. Sietsma, Sr., 58, passed away November 9, 2017.
Born on January 14, 1959, in Paterson, New Jersey, to Norman and Audrey Sietsma, Doug grew up in Speculator, New York, and graduated from Wells Central School.
He married Susan (nee Morrison) on September 22, 1979. He worked in construction as a general contractor, first with his family and then self-employed with Adirondack Construction.
Doug enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding his Harley, traveling, and he was an avid NASCAR fan.
Along with his wife, Doug is survived by their son, Douglas, Jr. and his significant other Melissa Trent, his brother Richard, sister Donna Benkovich (Robert), mother in law Joan Morrison, sister in law Faye Snyder (Dennis Busse), and niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Visitation at Northville Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14 from 12-2 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2.
