Richard E. Lair, age 69, of Valatie, formerly of Gloversville, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the Barnwell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Valatie.
He was born in Gloversville on October 3, 1948, the son of the late Wilfred and Marilyn Taylor Lair.
Richard attended Gloversville schools and was employed at Lexington Center.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley Pettengill of Gloversville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
