Azalia Harriet Caroline Lamphear

Azalia Harriet Caroline (Trussell) Lamphear, age 82, died on March 10, 2018, after an extended illness.

Azalia was born on December 14, 1935, in Willmington, NY. She attended Allentown Pilgrim College in Allentown, Pa. and then worked as a bank teller in Ilion.

She married Frederick Henry Lamphear of Lake Pleasant, NY on August 18, 1962. She celebrated 55 years of marriage and continued to live in Lake Pleasant until she passed away.

She was predeceased in death by two brothers, Ivan R. and Emerson C. Trussell; and one granddaughter, Jaylene Fae Hornberger.

Along with her husband, she is survived by one brother, John C. (Shirley) Trussell; both daughters, Lynnette (Paul) Hornberger of Westport, Ind., Leilani (Greg) Slabaugh of Apple Creek, OH; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Service Inc., 401 Bridge Street, Northville, NY 12134. A calling hour will take place Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Northville, 1284 County Highway 123, Mayfield, NY; a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Merle Hock.
