Spencer Flood, 72, of Mayfield, NY, died peacefully at Hospice in New Port Richey, FL on January 24, 2018.
Spencer was a graduate of Mayfield High School, class of 1963. He excelled in baseball, basketball and soccer. Spence went on to further study at the University of Potsdam in N.Y., then joined the Air Force for a four year term.
Spence moved to Florida in the late ‘80s where he enjoyed his life surrounded by many friends, visiting family members and his career. Spence spent 40 plus years selling cars and managing dealerships across the country. He loved dealing with the direct public as much as he loved the New York Yankees.
Spencer was the son of the late Melvin Flood and Evelyn Richardson Flood, both of Mayfield, N.Y. He is survived by his brothers, John (Ranada) Flood in Germany; Richard (Wanda) Flood of Mayfield and Larry Flood of Mayfield; his children, Michael Andring and Kristi Andring Smith (Jamie), Ronnie Flood, Stephanie Flood Capps (Don); also grandson, Jared, all of Washington state; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
