Carole L. Klingbeil, 75, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Saratoga Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 12, 1942.
Carole was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a supervisor for both Conroy Gloves and Lexington Center. She was a professional seamstress and enjoyed making outerwear for school children and the less fortunate.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard L. Klingbeil Jr. and his wife Jennifer with children Holly, Richard III, Brian and Jeremy and Mark Klingbeil and his wife Barbara and children Matthew and Megan; two daughters, Lynn Bennett with children Gordan and Mackenzie and Laurie Zalig with children Mark and Billy; one brother, David VanSlyke (Doris); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carole was predeceased by her husband Richard L. Klingbeil Sr.; her father, Everett VanSlyke; mother, Margaret Kumpan; stepfather, Joseph Kumpan; and one son-in-law, Claude Bennett.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date to be announced.
