Nettie Haywood, age 89, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Fulton Center for Rehab, after a brief illness.
She was born in Gloversville on April 22, 1929 a daughter of the late Arthur and Myrtle Ortel Putman.
Mrs. Haywood was employed at the former Johnstown Knit until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jim Haywood.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 E. Main St., Johnstown.
Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
