Stacey A. Putman, age 64, of Canajoharie, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, at home, after a brief illness.

He was born on September 3, 1953, in Amsterdam.

Stacey was a 1971 graduate of Johnstown High School.

Mr. Putman was employed as a truck driver for Shepard Oil Company, R.C. Putman Trucking and was last employed with National DCP for 28 years.

He was a member of the Canajoharie Country Club and Elks Club. He enjoyed golfing and skiing at Royal Mountain and Killington.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Cynthia Putman, whom he married on November 11, 2011; his sons, Jeffrey Putman, John Nellis and Eric Nellis; his daughters, Jennifer Wilcox, Heather Nellis and Cynthia Nellis; three brothers, Stanley Putman (Eileen), Stephen Putman (Michelle), and Gary Putman (Lyn); one sister, FritzAnn Surace (Butch Miner); grandchildren, Reegan, Molly, Amelia, Kennedy and Emma; his father, Richard C. Putman; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother, Doris MacGregor Putman.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher Street, Johnstown.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. The Rev Dr. R.W. Williams will officiate.

Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
