Stephen Z. Brewda, age 63, of Gloversville, died Monday evening, November 5, 2018, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.
He was born March 7, 1955, in Gloversville, the son of the late Dr. Martin and Elsie Lavine Brewda.
Stephen was a member of Knesseth Israel Synagogue and attended the Senior DayHab program at Lexington Center.
Survivors include two brothers, Lee Brewda and his wife Joanne of Westport, MA and Joseph Brewda and his wife Sylvia of Brunswick, MD; and nephew, Jonathan Brewda, also of Westport; and his many friends at Lexington Center.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the exceptional efforts on Stephen’s behalf by the staff at Lexington Center, over a period of more than four decades.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 9, at Knesseth Israel Cemetery, Clyde Street, Gloversville, with Suzanne J. Schermerhorn officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Lexington Foundation, 465 N. Perry St., Johnstown, NY 12095.
