Mrs. June A. Lawrence, of Edinburg, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2018, at the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home in Gloversville. Born in Colchester, NY on June 2, 1927, she is the daughter of the late Foster and Alzina Shrader Hinds.
A lifetime resident of the area, she was employed by Coleco Industries in Amsterdam for over 25 years. She is of the Roman Catholic faith and former communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Northville. June enjoyed playing bingo, working on her puzzle books and reading.
She married Richard Lawrence on July 6, 1945 they were married for 52 years until his passing on June 3, 1997. Together they raised four boys, Donald (Diana) Lawrence of Northville, Larry Lawrence of Johnsburg, NY, James (Deborah) Lawrence and Russell (Cindy) Lawrence both of Edinburg, N Y. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Richard she is predeceased by her grandson Larry W. Lawrence.
June was a dedicated wife and mother, she cherished her family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Richard Klueg officiating.
