Linda J. McGregor, age 63, of Johnstown, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the Mountain Valley Hospice House, Gloversville.
She was born on July 28, 1955, in Gloversville, a daughter of the late Donald “Bill” Blowers and Jeanne Grassette Blowers of Northville who survives.
Linda was a class of 1974 graduate of Mayfield Central School. She was employed for many years as a clerk at Brown’s Ford in Johnstown. Linda also worked for James Chevrolet and later as co-owner of Colonial Overhead Door. She was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three siblings, Diane A. Swartz (Peter) of Gloversville, James H. Blowers (AnneMarie) of Johnstown and her twin brother, D. Paul Blowers (Kathyann) of East Aurora; nieces and nephews, Kelly Curtis (Rob), Todd Yost, Eric Blowers (Keri), Craig Blowers (Emily), Jenni Mazur (Jason) and Julie O’Connor (Ryan).
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, with the Rev. Bonnie Orth officiating.
Memorial visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
