With great sadness, we announce the loss of David M. Draffen, 47, of Northville, N.Y. David could not find peace here and left us on August 24. David was born on February 17, 1972, in Gloversville, N.Y., attending schools throughout Fulton County. David worked as a painter on his own and for several local businesses in the Northville community and surrounding areas.
David is survived by his father and mother, James and Carol Draffen; his brother, Thomas Draffen (Amy Draffen); nieces and nephews, aunt, uncles, and many cousins.
David’s friends and family knew him as a hard worker, faithful friend, and generous spirit, ready to give of himself. He brought cheer to those whose lives he touched, and we know he would want us to find comfort among our family and in our faith.
There will be a memorial service held on Friday, August 30, 2019, at noon at the Baptist Church of Northville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested for the Bread of Life Food Pantry, c/o Baptist Church of Northville, P.O. Box 223, Northville, NY 12134.
