Eileen Mary (Little) Pike, 78 years old, God gained another angel, born on July 26, 1941. Eileen passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on July 29, 2019.
She was the oldest daughter to the late Richard and Myrtle (Sweet) Little of Meco, NY. Eileen was the oldest daughter of five children.
Eileen married Capt. James Burton Pike, who passed on July 4, 1978.
In addition to both her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Dee Pike; and two sisters, Gail Moore and Barbara Battaglia.
She is survived by her four sons, James (Ursula), Jeffrey (Sherri), Stephen (Beverly) and Shawn; along with her six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Bowie, who she loved with all her heart.
Eileen loved playing cards, going to the casino, cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed greatly by all.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.
Interment will take place at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown following the services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to James Brennan Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, NY 12078 or to a charity of one’s choice in Eileen’s name.
