Peter Petrides, 65 of Woody Lane, Gloversville died August 10, 2019 at his home, with his Lexington family by his side.
Born in Cohoes, N.Y., he was the son of the late Demetra and Anastasis Petrides.
He entered Lexington in 1980 and had worked in the Lexington transportation department for many years.
Peter enjoyed swimming, animals, riding on buses, going on trips, holidays and making decorations for the house and attending local events and volunteering in the community. Peter enjoyed just being around people; where he could share a laugh or too; and he always cared about the constant safety of everyone in his house.
Friends may call Wednesday August 14, 2019 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main, Gloversville, where services will follow at 10 a.m.
Internment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany, N.Y.
