Melvin J. Veeder Jr., age 53, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
He was born on August 21, 1966, in Gloversville, a son of Melvin J. Veeder and Linda Craig Veeder.
Melvin attended Gloversville schools and was employed for many years in the leather industry at several local tanneries including Twin City Leather and Karg Brothers. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Melvin is survived by his wife, Kimberly S. Veeder of Fultonville; one son, Joshua Veeder; one brother, Clarence Veeder (Nan); niece, Stacey Boyer; and nephew, Michael Rumrill.
There will be no calling hours.
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of his family.
