Bruce A. Benson, age 54, of Gloversville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
He was born September 8, 1966, in Amsterdam, NY, the son of Nancy Sleezer-Benson and the late James Benson Jr. He was the co-owner of Adirondack Charm in Johnstown.
He was an excellent chef who loved cooking for his family and friends, and was also an avid gardener, animal advocate, and outdoorsman.
Survivors include his companion of over 20 years, Aimee Ricciardi and their son, Conner James Benson; his stepsons, Austin and Shawn; his mother, Nancy Sleezer-Benson of Johnstown; a brother, Brian Benson of Connecticut; a sister, Barbara Benson-Ward and her husband, David Ward of Johnstown, NY, and their children, Katelynn, David, and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a memorial contribution to Lifesaver Ministries located in Gloversville, NY, or to a local charity of your choice. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date.
