Thomas F. Vainauskas, age 70, of Fultonville, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Albany Medical Center.
Born on June 2, 1951, in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Ann (Tylutki) Vainauskas.
Thomas was the owner of a dairy farm which he operated with his oldest son until his retirement in 2019. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, antiquing, gardening, and collecting clocks. He also loved to go for Sunday rides and dine out. Most importantly, Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was married to the love of his life, Wilda (Hall) Vainauskas on August 12, 1972.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Wilda; children, Matthew, Christopher (Koreen), and Lisa (Kori Vice) Vainauskas; brother, Frank Vainauskas Jr. (Kathy); four grandchildren, Amaya and Avary Vainauskas, Adrianna and Kori Vice; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his children, Jessica, and Jason Vainauskas.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown, with the Reverend R.W. Williams officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
