Betty J. Baldwin

Burnt Hills – Betty J. Baldwin, 86, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Betty was born on February 10, 1935, in Gloversville, NY. She was the daughter of the late Julius and Blanche (Talon) Rieth.

Betty attended Gloversville High School and following her graduation, began working as a secretary at GE in Schenectady. She worked until her marriage to the late Herbert A. Baldwin in 1966, after which she stayed home to raise her children.

Betty was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church. She loved singing and gave her talents to both the church choir and the Choraliers in Clifton Park. She also had fun bowling with her friends. Betty enjoyed camping with her husband all over the Northeast, and wintering in Ft. Pierce, FL to escape the cold.

Betty is survived by her wonderful children Brian Baldwin and Nancy (Drew) Meyer; her brother William (the late Barbara) Rieth; and her adored grandchildren Kaeliana Baldwin and Evan Meyer as well as several loving nieces and nephews.

Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband, Herbert A. Baldwin; her dear brother, Donald (the late Marilyn) Rieth; and sister Patricia Rieth.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday September 10, 2021, from 4:00pm-6:00 p.m. at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.

A funeral service will conclude the evening.

Committal prayers will be held on Saturday September 11, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Factory Village Cemetery, Milton.
