Laszlo “Lou” Lizak passed away September 17, 2021. He emigrated from Budapest, Hungary and years later moved to Wells, New York with his beloved wife, Grace.
Lou was a Master Glass Blower by trade for 50 years. He was especially dedicated to his family, church and community. Recognized awards for many years of service with the Chamber of Commerce, Wells Volunteer EMS, Fire and Police.
He later became active in the Algonquin Snoblazers and Wells Senior Citizens Group. His kindness and laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lou is predeceased by wife, Grace Jordan Lizak and his grandson Nicolas.
Lou is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Helen and Glenn, Martha and Peter, Marie and Matthew; grandchildren, Lacey, Daniel and Patrick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2pm at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1303 State Route 30. Wells, NY 12190. Fr. Sony Pulickal as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wells Ambulance, PO Box 400, Wells, NY 12190.
