John J. Ward Jr.

John J Ward Jr., 53 of Gloversville passed away unexpectedly
on Wednesday Oct 13,2021 with his immediate
family by his side. In John’s eyes, an ideal day
consisted of relaxing in his bed while watching the
television show “Blue Bloods” as well as an ice cold
pepsi sitting in his hand. John held a great love for
semi trucks and trains, as he would ride his bicycle to
Fonda’s truckstops and railways to watch them in action
for hours at a time. He was known as our personal
GPS, all you needed to do was tell him where and
he would get you there off pure memory. You could always
find John with a pair of headphones on his head,
bobbing away and singing along, some of his favorite
songs were “Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses” by
Kathy Mattea and “East Bound and Down” by Jerry
Reed. John was an all around family man. For him family
was everything. He was the son of the late John and
Carol Eagan Ward Sr. Survived by his siblings, Anne
Ruf, Stacey Stuart, Patricia and Steven Ward, and Karen
Hawkins, many nieces, nephews ,aunts, and uncles.
Pre-deceased by Margaret Ward. John will be dearly
missed by many. The family request his memory be
kept alive. On line condolences to the family my be
