Joyce Dorothy Hildreth

Joyce Dorothy Hildreth, 77, of Mayfield passed away
on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Ellis Hospital,
Schenectady.
Born in Amsterdam on July 19, 1944, she was a
daughter of the late Lawson and Nympha Muscarella
Hildreth.
She was a lifelong area resident and attended local
schools.
Joyce worked for several local nursing homes in
various capacities. She retired from Fulton Center
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gloversville as
the activities coordinator. Ms. Hildreth enjoyed the
flowers and the many gifts of gardening. She delighted
in scratch off tickets and playing games of chance.
Above all, she dearly loved and was loved by her family.
She listened to Christian music in quiet times. She
loved the Lord and spent much time praying for other
people.
Survivors include her children, Richard Ippoliti of
Gloversville, Darren Ippoliti of Mayfield, Amanda
(Gary) Ippoliti of FL, Lawson Ippoliti of Mayfield,
and Tammy (Thomas) Ferrari of Johnstown; grandchildren,
Richard, Amy, Amanda, and Lawson Ippoliti,
Cassidy McKeon, and Jesse Johnson, Tyler DeWalt,
Alexis DeWalt, Jenna Priest, Derek Ippolitti, Nathaniel
Ippolitti, and Derrick Jackson; a brother, John Hildreth
of Amsterdam; two sisters, Patricia Coons of
Schenectady and Joan (George) Albert of Schenectady;
and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by
a son, Eugene Ippoliti.
Cremation was performed by Park View Crematorium
in Schenectady. A graveside service will be held
on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph’s
Cemetery, Mergner Rd. Fort Johnson with Rev. Robert
DeMartinis, officiating.
