Barbara A. Pagerie

Barbara A. Pagerie, age 83, of the Town of Johnstown
passed away peacefully, with family by her side on
Saturday November 6, 2021.
She was born in Campgaw, New Jersey on January
9, 1938, the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Mary
Ellen Knichel Sr.
She was a high school graduate and homemaker.
She loved spending time with her family, in addition
she enjoyed playing games, doing puzzles, watching
the Food Network on TV and most of all going to garage
sales; she also had a weekly garage sale at her
home for the last 45 years!
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Ronald
G. Pagerie. They were married in 1956 and lived happily
together for 59 years. Survivors include her four
children, Michelle King (Randy), Valerie Henderson,
Daniel Pagerie (Kara) and Lisa Glowacki (Joe); her
three brothers Raymond, James and John Knichel; 9
grandchildren, Marcia Oddy, Paul Stegel, Angela Raneri,
Jenny Stewart, Charlene Strauser, Jason Henderson,
Zebadiah Pagerie, Joseph Glowacki and Michael
Glowacki; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren
with one on the way and many nieces, nephews
and cousins.
She was also predeceased by one brother, four sisters
and a son-in-law.
Per her wishes, Barbara’s remains have been donated
for educational and scientific purposes to the Albany
Medical College Anatomical Gift Program.
Service will be private and a celebration of life will
be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at the
Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in
