Herbert C. Buyce, age 79, of Gloversville, passed away
Friday, November 5, 2021 at Mountain Valley Hospice
House, Gloversville.
He was born March 5, 1942 in Gloversville, along
with his two brothers as a set of triplets to the late
Henry and Dorothy Blood Buyce. He was employed as
a steam fitter by General Electric Company of Schenectady
for 30 years until his retirement in 1997.
Herb is survived by a sister, Winnie Paul; as well as
several nieces, nephews and cousins and his caretaker,
Debbie Lobdell Cook.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by
his brothers, Henry Buyce, Harvey Buyce and Walter
Buyce; sisters, Florence Kretser, Pearl “Bea” Passero,
Celia Smith and Doris “Betty” Blaney.
A graveside service will take place 1:00 pm Thursday,
November 11 at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown,
with the Rev. R.W. Williams officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of
flowers to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave;
Gloversville, NY 12078.
