Timothy N. Aguilera

Timothy N. Aguilera, 71, of Gloversville NY,
passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Nathan
Littauer Hospital, Gloversville of a sudden illness
with his loving family by his side.
Born on October 28, 1950, in Amsterdam NY, he
was the son of the late Robert and Esther (Dovey)
Aguilera.
A kind man, with a wonderful sense of humor, he
was always there for his family, friends, or even a
stranger. He enjoyed farming with Shirley and children,
carpentry, renovating houses, and spending
time with his family. One of his proudest accomplishments
was owning and operating a dairy farm
in the 70’s and 80’s. Timothy played football for the
Johnstown Sir Bills and Glove Cities Colonials and
was a member of the Gloversville Eagles. Through
most of his adult life, he was employed as a leatherworker
at Wood & Hyde Leather Co. in Gloversville,
until he retired in 2016.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley
(Savage), the love of his life (they met on the school
bus and were high school sweethearts); his children,
Charles, Charity, Clinton (Nicole), Clayton (Katie),
and Crystal; his brother, Robert “Dougie” Aguilera;
his sister, Carol Cromer; and his grandchildren, David
Heise III, Jacob, Owen, and Liam Humphrey,
Travis Krokowski, Nevaeh and Skyler Aguilera,
Evan, Aria, and Colton Aguilera, Savannah, Hunter,
and Ryder Hart, and Colin and Elliot Aguilera;
as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his
chihuahua, Peanut.
In addition to his parents, Timothy is predeceased
by his daughter, Carolyn Aguilera and granddaughter,
Caylyn Aguilera.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November
12, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral
Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
Visitation for family and friends will be held prior
to the service at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m.
until 2:00 p.m.
