Tryfonas Vahaviolos

Tryfonas Vahaviolos, age 40, of Johnstown, passed
away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Syracuse University
Hospital, Syracuse NY, with his loving family
by his side.
Born on June 11, 1981, in Gloversville NY, he is the
son to Sam and Antonia (Koyntane) Vahaviolos.
Tryfonas was a graduate of Johnstown High School.
He enjoyed hanging out at Romanas. Tryfonas was
one of the best pizza makers they’ve had. He was always
telling jokes and talking sports with the boys.
The smile on his face is one what we will always remember.
He loved watching sports. His favorite football
team was The Bills. Rooting for The Mets all
baseball season, and his all time favorite was watching
wrestling. He was able to watch WWE ringside with a
smile on his face. Tryfonas spent a great time watching
his nieces and nephews. He would always bring
them outside to play soccer, basketball and football.
He was surround by so much love from them.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his
brother, Dino Vahaviolos (Megan); as well nieces and
nephews, Kosta, Charlee, Luca and Eleni Vahaviolos.
Private services will be held at the convenience of
the family.
Interment will be at FernDale Cemetery.

memory can be made to The Saint Theodoroi
Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Washington Street, Gloversville,
NY or to the American Heart Association,
