Gloversville – Clifford D. VanBuren, age 67, of Gloversville, NY, went to his heavenly home on April 3, 2022.
He was born May 2, 1954 in Schenectady, NY. Beloved son of the late Richard and Iola (Martin) VanBuren.
Dearest brother of Carol (Richard) Agoney, Dawn (Larry) Scull, Marsha (Joseph) Pierson, Martin (Cindy) VanBuren. He also leaves his aunt, Carolyn Trantor; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cliff was very friendly and loved being surrounded by family and friends. Cliff enjoyed long drives in the country and being out in and observing nature. We called him a politician, because he would shake hands with everyone he passed by.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends for his sweet and gentle nature.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18
Private arrangements are being made at the request of the family.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the caring staff at Lexington Center in Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Cliff to Lexington ARC, 127 East State St., Gloversville, NY 12078. www.sbfuneralhome.com
